Our activities are guided by the four humanitarian principles: humanity, neutrality, impartiality and independence. These principles provide the foundations for humanitarian action.

  • We remain committed to MASS vision and mission
  • We acknowledge and observe all humanitarian charters including the United Nations Charter and the ICRC code of conduct
  • We work to ensure that all our processes are transparent, inclusive and accountable
  • We respect and observe the cultures of the groups that we work with and ensure.
  • We at all times protect our beneficiaries against Sexual Gender Based Violence, Sexual exploitation and abuse and child protection atrocities by working with communities and establishing processes and policies that reduce protection risks.
  • We acknowledge the risks posed to the environment and ensure that our actions at office and while implementing project activities within communities work towards ensuring environmental care
  • We provide support to all groups regardless of their political affiliation, religious, tribe and sexual orientation.
  • We believe in inclusive programming where Communities are at the core of all our projects processes including decision making on how best to achieve quality and timely deliverables.
  • We at all times ensure that our actions and programs do no harm to groups we support.
  • Through our projects, we work with communities to reduce future shocks emanating from natural and man-made calamities by creating household resilience.
